1. This is
Alnico magnet, it is belong to
rare earth permanent magnet.
It mainly have two classification according to different production process, the
Sintered Alnico magnet and
Cast Alnico magnet.
2. Cast Alnico can be processed to be intricate and complex shapes tomeet customer's demand. Some types of Alnico are isotropic, meaning theycan be efficiently magnetized in any direction. Anisotropic magnetsgenerally have a greater magnetic capacity in their preferredorientation than isotropic.
3. Unlike cast Alnico magnets, sintered Alnico magnets offerlower magnetic properties but better mechanical characteristics. Mixesof metal powders are pressed to shape and size, and then sintered at2300oF in a hydrogen atmosphere. The sintering process is well suited tolarge volume production, and results in parts that are structurallystronger than cast magnets. Relatively close tolerances can be achievedwithout grinding.
4. The
Cast Alnico magnets can be processed with many different irregular shapes. Only this permanent magnet can make any shape with high magnetic energy according to customers' requirments.
